Teaching Interests

Wilson is deeply committed to fostering engaging learning environments. His teaching interests include online teaching methodologies, and the integration of technology in education. He is particularly passionate about designing learning experiences that promote supportive classroom practices.

Research Interests

Wilson’s research focuses on the impact of professional development on teaching effectiveness in higher education. He is particularly interested in how emerging technologies can enrich learning experiences and promote student success. His current work explores the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence in classroom settings and examines how faculty and staff can effectively incorporate these tools into their teaching and administrative practices.

Professional Accomplishments

Wilson M. Rojas has led the design, coordination, and delivery of over 150 professional development sessions and workshops, focusing on course design, and technology integration. His work has reached more than 500 participants across various departments and roles in higher education. He has also developed and managed campus-wide training programs, including new employee onboarding and ad-hoc workshops on personal development, business applications, and professional skills. Wilson’s expertise in instructional design and facilitation has consistently supported faculty and staff in enhancing their teaching practices and professional growth.

Additional Information

Wilson is bilingual in Spanish and English and holds multiple certifications in instructional design, inclusive learning, and artificial intelligence. He has also contributed to community initiatives, such as developing educational resources for immigrant populations. His background in student government and conference leadership further demonstrates his commitment to collaboration, mentorship, and lifelong learning.
